Are You Tired Of Being A Couch Potato Video Gamer? Then Check Out The New Nintendo Wii!

Are you sick of that beer gut or chocolate butt that you gained from sitting around playing video games? I think you might want to set your sights on the new Nintendo Wii. This interactive gaming system gives you opportunities to get off of the couch and actually interact with items on your television. The first game that I played on this system was a bowling game and after 2 games my muscles in my arms and legs felt like they were getting a workout. To bowl you would actually do the same movements as though you were bowling at an actually alley. The only difference is that instead of a 15lb ball you have a controller that you hold. Let’s just say I kicked some bum in bowling that night.


My daughter who is 8 years old was boxing with my brother and within 15 minutes they broke out in a sweat and they were actually having fun. What a great way to lose weight by playing interactive sports and fitness games instead of staring at a television while walking on the treadmill. My new exercise routine consists of playing an hour of either one of the interactive sports or fitness Wii games. I’ve actually lost weight since we bought the Wii a month ago. Having fun while working out made it easier for me to stick to my exercise routine. (Please note that the Wii is only a portion of my exercise routine.)
